Remembrance Days in November

There isn’t a full service at the Memorial on Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday, but Trustees are always in attendance to welcome visitors who come to observe the silence. In recent years we have played a short recording which included the bugle calls Reveille and the Last Post, and readings of both the Exhortation and the Kohima Epitaph. In recent years we have been delighted to welcome vintage motorcyclists who schedule their Remembrance Sunday Run to arrive at the Memorial for 11 o’clock.
