Winter Museum Opening arrangements:

The FONFA Museum & Centre BH23 8AU is now closed to regular Sunday opening, during the winter months. We expect to open to the public for regular Sunday hours (10 am to 4 pm) on at least one Sunday per month (normally the third Sunday) from March 2017 onwards.

If you represent a school or are a member of a group or represent a group of people who would like to arrange a visit to the Museum, during the winter months, please contact us well in advance via the website e-mail address: fonfa2010@gmail.com , with details of your request.

N.B. Please be aware that we are required by law to have two trained Fire Warden Trustees on site, whenever members of the public are admitted. The Trustees, who are all unpaid volunteers, are willing to consider requests from groups of ten or more adults, to visit the Museum on mutually agreed days. We will do their best to accommodate such requests, in addition to our Outreach Programme for visits by local school parties.

One Response to Memorial activity and future Museum opening arrangements

  1. Philip Jewell says:

A most interesting museum set within a historic airfield building and staffed with helpful, enthusiastic and knowledgeably volunteers. I much appreciated the time and hospitality showed me during my recent visit and enjoyed my time there. I thought that the layout of the museum and its displays, models and information on the airfields of the New Forest was first class and a credit to all involved. I considered that my visit was most informative and intend return visits to further study the displays shown
